My weight loss through nutritional cleansing - 60 pounds and counting

My Story! I am happily married father of 3 beautiful girls and we get news no one ever wants to hear or should have to- Cancer is now part of our life. My wife, Janet, was diagnosed with breast cancer the same week as her 36th birthday and the week prior to our girls going to stay with my parents back in NJ ( we live in Maryland after the Army relocated us following the Ft Monmouth closure). So we had a week to figure out what was happening. After initial tests came back cancer positive in her lymph nodes we went into panic mode. This was the trigger for me to see I can't sustain my glutenous lifestyle. I had allowed myself to ride an unhealthy roller coaster and now I was sitting at 352 pounds ( 5 foot 5.5 inches tall) and realizing my wife could have stage 4 cancer with a very dark road ahead of us. At that moment I started to pray for lasting change and a few weeks later I saw a high school classmates post with a transformation photo. I reached out and gave her some background and we chatted for a few weeks. I felt like the program she detailed could really help.

Jump forward 6 weeks into the program I had broken the 300lbs mark for the first time in a long time. Besides the weight loss I hadn't had this much energy and focus in 25 years. I could sleep all night and wake up recharged for the day to come!

Now, my parents and wife have joined me and they are having amazing results as well.

I will provide updates here on my progress and I look forward to helping folks who want to live a healthier life!

How this page works- Please read!

Welcome to this site I created in my second month of nutritional cleansing with Isagenix.

The purpose of this page is to be a place were folks can find recipes, share experiences with their food and of course leave comments and send recommendations to help grow this resource.
The easiest way to find meals is to click what you are looking for along the top of the page (meals, snacks or shake recipes), the next best way is to use the keyword cloud located on the right ride of the page.

I hope to hear from you soon and please share this page with ours that are on this journey!

Also, PLEASE- if you know the source of the recipe please comment and include link. I was sent these my a variety of people and most of them didn't include the source. I am not trying to make money with this, I just know how hard it is to find a good variety of recipes that fit into this amazing program.

Of course feel free to check out this link which I just recently found:
