My Goals

You need to have a place where your goals are visible and accessible. Because of this I am putting my goals out there for everyone to see- I like that type of accountability. As I conquer each goal I will cross it out and add the date so we can track progress. Share your encouragement and if you want even your personal goals in the comments below!


  1. Read the Bible with the family once a week
  2. Share the program with my family (Nov 18th 2015)
  3. Complete 1 solid week of Isagenix strict 30 (Nov 2nd 2015)
  4. Complete 1 Month of Isagenix strict 30
  5. Track prayers and then they are answered (made prayer jars with daughter Dec 13th 2015)
  6. No Chipotle until 2016 (The wife and I were able to get a date night and had a gift card so I enjoyed a modified meal on Dec 30th)
  7. Complete a mile in under 14 minutes (Completed Dec 8th 2015)
  8. UPDATE: Complete a mile in under 10 minutes in January
  9. Complete 2 miles in under 28 minutes(Completed Dec 8th 2015)
  10. Pass out 10 tracts in January
  11. Fit in XL clothing in January
  12. Complete & Submit Isagenix Challenge in February
  13. Run a 5k in under 40 minutes by February
  14. Learn a song to play on the piano at church by March
  15. Complete 5 pull ups by March
  16. Volunteer once by March
  17. Complete a 5k with a daughter by April
  18. Complete 10 pull ups by May
  19. Complete a 5k with my wife by May
  20. Memorize John 14 by July
  21. Swim without a shirt on by July
  22. Complete a tough mudder by August
  23. Start taking Brazilian Jiu Jistu / Karate / CrossFit classes by summer time
  24. Fit in L clothing by September
  25. Complete a spartan race by September
  26. Complete some type of triathlon by November
  27. Memorize Romans Road by December
  28. Complete a 10k in 2016
  29. Fit on every roller coaster at Hershey Park
  30. Eat lunch once a month with my daughters at their school
  31. Read 1 professional development book per month
  32. Become a better jump roper (my daughter competes and I think it would be fun to do with her)
  33. Learn a foreign language (debating between German and Spanish)
  34. Travel and watch the Oakland Raiders play a home game
